How it works
- Pick the plan that matches your project size: 100–200 sq ft rain gardens or 250–400 sq ft lawn-to-meadow.
- Check out. Your download is ready instantly on the success page and stays valid 72 hours.
- Adapt the layout to your property, complete the county site assessment, and submit.
Live in Rockville or Gaithersburg? Those cities run their own rebate programs — see our Rockville/Gaithersburg edition. Takoma Park is excluded from the county program and doesn’t currently run its own rebate.
Approval is the county's decision. Your packet is matched to the program's published requirements.
Two rules that get buyers rejected: the county only rebates gardens that capture runoff from a roof or pavement — a pollinator bed by itself doesn't qualify — and you must get your plan approved before you dig.
